Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a cartridge which prevents dust or the like from penetrating a device, which has plural heads on the same face, from the external by providing a slider which moves a shutter to open and close freely plural head insertion holes and center holes. CONSTITUTION:In the state where a cartridge 2 is led out from the device, a slider 12 is energized elastically in the direction of an arrow A by an elastic member to close comptelely head insertion holes 7 and 8 and center holes 5 and 6 by a shutter 9 having a square section. When the cartridge 2 is inserted to the device (in the direction of an arrow C) with the side of a slider 12 to the front, a projecting material 13 is engaged with a projecting material of the device, and the slider 12 pulls the shutter 9 in the direction of an arrow B, and the shutter 9 opens head insertion holes 7 and 8 and center holes 5 and 6 simultaneously with the end of insetion of the cartridge 2 to the device. A disc motor 3, disc clamper 4, and heads 14 and 15 are inserted into the cartridge, and signals are recorded on and reproduced from a disc 1 by head 14, and 15.
