Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To rewrite the contents and to hasten a cycle time by installing external RAM and ROM for storing a microprocessor onto the same chip, dividing, inputting and assembling one instruction with the initialized signal from the external part and executing an instruction after storing to the internal RAM. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessors (MP)10, ROM20 and RAM30 are installed at an integrated circuit 100, and when an initialized signal is inputted in the circuit 100 from the external part, and then, the MP10 reads contents of the ROM20 Next, the ROM20 reads the contents in a floppy disk device 400 through a floppy disk control part 300 in accordance with an instruction, divides a micro-instruction into several pieces and inputs to the circuit 100 and assembles as one micro-instruction at the interval part. Next, the instruction is loaded to the RAM30, and after that the contents of the top address are read and executed as a micro-instruction. Thus, the microprogram can be executed in the circuit 100 only.
