Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent characteristic deterioration and the occurrence of disconnection trouble at the time of using under the high temperature and high humidity in a magnetic sensor using the magneto-resistance effect by using a material consisting of a laminated body of Ti, Au as a lead layer. CONSTITUTION:A ferromagnetic thin film 25 is laminated on a flat plate base 21. This thin film 25 is for detecting an external magnetic field from a magnetic recording medium or the like by the magneto resistance effect and formed of Fe-Ni system material. The thin film 25 is composed of a detecting part 251 and electrode parts 255, 257 connecting with this detecting part 251. The lead layers 31, 35 are provided respectively to these electrode parts 255, 257. The respective lead layers consist of the first layers 311, 351 and the 2nd layers 315, 325 respectively and the 1st and 2nd layers are composed of Ti and Au respectively.
