Sampling method for analysis of solid-liquid slurry
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the time until an analytical value is obtd. after sampling by sampling intermittently a slurry at a constant rate from a piping in which the slurry flows and drawing the solid particles in the slurry diluted and dispersed by a solvent as a sample for analysis. CONSTITUTION:A piping 2 for sampling is branched from a slurry transport line 1 from a producing apparatus. A pump 3 for sampling and a constant volume sampler 4 are installed to the piping 2. The slurry sample drawn at the constant rate is discharged from the inside of the sampler by the solvent supplied at a constant flow rate from a solvent tank 5 for analysis through a piping 6 by a pump 7. The slurry and solvent are mixed in a mixing tank 8 through a piping 6 and thereafter the dispersion of the solid particles is accelerated by an ultrasonic bath 9 then the mixture is fed to a measuring part 10.
