Microwave filter using dielectric resonator

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To decrease the quantity setting an interval between center conductors of a dielectric resonator accurately by dividing a dielectric filter into blocks of several dielectric resonators. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic field is generated from a signal from an input terminal 1 by a dielectric resonator 3. The electromagnetic field is given to the center conductors of a resonator 5 and further transmitted to the center conductor of a resonator 6. Then the electromagnetic field from the resonator 6 is transmitted to the center conductor of a resonator by electromagnetic coupling via air. The electromagnetic field is transmitted to the center conductor of a resonator 8 and then the center conductor of the resonator 4. Then the resonance frequency of each dielectric resonator is decided by patterns 9-14 coupled to the center conductors and by the height of the center conductors of the dielectric resonator is reduced.
