Level displaying system of hierarchical structure menu
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary that a user searches a specified level display area, and to make him recognize it easily by making the number of frames correspond to a level value so that a level I and a level II become a single frame and a double frame, respectively, with regard to a menu frame pattern. CONSTITUTION:Each element menu of a menu system having a hierarchical structure has a code for discriminating the levels (I, II, III, etc.) to which it belongs, and it is stored in a menu file 2. Each function routine selected on the menu is stored in a function routine file 4. When starting the use of the system, first a menu control part 6 fetches a system of the level I from the menu file 2 and brings it to a picture display on a display device 10 through a display processing part 8. In this case, as for a menu frame, a single frame pattern corresponding to the level I is selected from the menu frame pattern file 3.
