Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To display a natural picture even when prescribed information is omitted by providing a scroll quantity decision means and a scroll complete operating means operated forcibly. CONSTITUTION:A scroll quantity of a scroll executed previously is read from RAM 119, it is decided whether or not it is of font unit, and when it is not of font unit, it can be discriminated that a complete instruction is omitted and the following procedures are executed to complete the previous scroll action forcibly. First, a dot quantity to set the scroll quantity read from RAM 119 to font unit is calculated, and next, the scroll action of the scroll quantity calculated is executed by using a video RAM control circuit 101. This can be executed by rewriting the data in a graphic video RAM 122 through a video RAM control circuit 121. Further, the scroll action of the newly reproduced instruction is simultaneously executed by using the video RAM control circuit 121.
