Programmable controller
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce a cost of a system, and to improve its reliability by providing a PROM for conserving a sequence program in a programmable controller body. CONSTITUTION:When writing the contents of a sequence program memory 4 in a PROM10, a program loader 9 is used, and a write command to the PROM10 is given to a CPU2 controlled by a system program memory 3, through an interface 8. The CPU2 stores the contents of the memory 4 in its internal register by one word unit, subsequently, selects the PROM10 by using a system bus and sends a data stored in the internal register. The CPU2 discriminates a classification of the PROM10, and a PROM voltage generating circuit 13 generates a different voltage in accordance with a classification of the PROM10, impresses a voltage to the PROM10 and sends a signal from the CPU2. This operation is executed to all the contents of the memory 4, and the write operation to the PROM10 is ended.
