Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the mechanical breakdown of the IC (integrated circuit) elements within a card by securing an approximately discontinuous state between the base part including the IC elements and other parts and therefore absorbing the external force by the discontinuous part. CONSTITUTION:The IC elements 7 are arrayed on a substrate 2, and pierced slits 3-5 and 6 are provided around the elements 7. In such a constitution, no external force is applied to the elements 7 even in case of a card and the substrate 2 are bent by the external force. This prevents the mechanical breakdown of the IC7.
