Toner for developing electrostatic charge image
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having a low minimum fixing temp. and capable of forming a fine visible image at a high speed by the development of an electrostatic charge image by adding a specified releasing agent to polyester resin as a resin binder. CONSTITUTION:Polyester resin is used as a resin binder, and other necessary components for a toner and wax as a releasing agent are added to particles of the polyester resin to obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image. It is preferable that the polyester resin contains >=5wt% chloroform- insoluble matter, and the offsetting temp. of the toner can be increased by using the polyester resin. The wax used has 60-110 deg.C m.p. and a solubility parameter which differs from the solubility parameter of the resin binder by >=1.0. When the resulting toner is used, fine visible images can be stably formed many times at a low fixing temp. and a high speed without generating an offsetting or twining phenomenon.
