Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:An agent for the skin for activating skin cell or hair-matrix cell, containing a compound selected from an epidermal growth factor and urogstrone derived from an animal. CONSTITUTION:An agent for the skin containing 0.1ng-1mug/ml epidermal growth factor and urogastrone that exist in tissue, milk, spittle, blood, urine, etc. derived from an animal such as human, mouse, etc., and a polypeptide consisting of 50 and several kinds of amino acids, or a composite of it and bonded protein, or its derivative, and, if necessary, various peptide, and protein in a cosmetic or hair cosmetic. The cosmetic or hair cosmetic provides the skin with smooth and wet feeling, forming young skin, provides the hair with hair-nourising action, hair-growing action, and prevents removal of hair.
