Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a natural printed output in terms of vision by printing a binary data of ''1'' or ''0'', whichever is greater in number, as a white base when picture data accumulated as the binary data of ''1'' or ''0'' is printed in a picture memory. CONSTITUTION:Picture information such as teletext is written in a picture memory 10 through a system control part 11. The picture data in the memory 10 is read out in accordance with the signal from a display control circuit 14 and displayed on a display 16 through a data converter circuit 15. When the picture data is printed, the system control part 11 counts ''1'' and ''0'' of the binary data in the memory 10, and decides the data having a larger number of either ''1'' or ''0'' to be a white base. Afterward, the data in the memory 10 is supplied to a dot printer 17 through a data control circuit 18. Then the natural and compatible printed output can be obtained in terms of vision.
