Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To highly maintain descending position accuracy of a magnetic head for a magnetic disk and to improve performance by forming a stage lower by one step at an upstream side of a cartridge insertion direction of a magnetic head insertion port, and forming a step at a side surface plate part of a shutter. CONSTITUTION:A little hollow shutter slide part 29 is formed a the right and left of a magnetic head insertion port 28, and further, between the mgnetic head insertion port 28 and a case end nearest to the port, namely, at the upstream side of a cartridge insertion direction of the magnetic head insertion port 28, a linked concaved part 30 by one step lower than other case surface is installed. At the position in correspondence to an opening 34 of a side surface plate part 37, a removing part 38 with the same horizontal width as the opening 34 is installed upwards and downwards, and in this way, a narrow width part 39 almost equal to width dimensions of a card part 31 is formed. Thus, a magnetic head can pass through the magnetic head insertion part, can be descened toward a magnetic disk 22 from a low position and accuracy of a descending position can be enhanced by shortening a stroke of a magnetic head.
