Self-diagnostic device of car-mounted electronic device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a start of self diagnosis to be directly instructed from a driver's seat, by providing a self-diagnostic start control means starting the self diagnosis when a switch signal of a self diagnosis starting switch means is obtained a predetermined number of times or more within a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:A device, in which an arithmetic processing device 15 executes a predetermined arithmetic operation on the basis of a detection signal of each detector 3-6 of car speed, steering angle, brake pedal depression and car height controlling damping force of a damping force variable shock absorber 8a-8d so as to be in an optimum condition in accordance with the running condition of a vehicle, provides in the vicinity of a driver's seat a self-diagnostic switch 13 for starting a self diagnosis of an electronic control device 2. And the self diagnosis is started only when a switch signal from said switch 13 is input a predetermined number of times or more at closing of a power supply. The result of this self diagnosis is displayed in a self-diagnostic indicator 12.
