Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent radiant-ray picture with simple operation by adding a prescribed signal to a picture signal of a desired region picture element in picture signals to increase/decrease the picture density of the prescribed region of the reproduced picture. CONSTITUTION:Laser light 1a with a prescribed intensity from a laser light source 1 is deflected to a storage fluorescent sheet 3 placed lower than a galvanometer mirror 2 as laser light 1b and scanned in the main scanning direction A. The sheet 3 storing and recording the radiant ray information is adsorbed onto an endless belt device 9 and carried in the sub-scanning direction B. Luminescent light 4 having intensity in response to the picture information from the sheet 3 is made incident on an incident face 5a of a light condensing body 5. The incident light 4 is condensed on a rear end 5c and coupled to a photomultiplier 6 and an electric signal S converted by the photomultiplier 6 is fed to a picture information reading circuit 7. Then an output of the circuit 7 is fed to a computer 8, a prescribed signal is added to a signal of the desired region picture element among the picture signals, the picture density of the prescribed region of the reproduced picture is increased/decreased and the result is displayed on a CRT10.
