Data voice switching system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain transmission/reception of a voice signal by adding a start signal and an end signal to a data signal between a terminal device and a line side device and applying program control to switch the line to a telephone set position when no data is transmitted or received. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal device TERM requests data transmittion to a line side device LINE, a start signal is inserted to a head of a reception data RD and the result is transmitted from a MODEMM2, then a microcomputer MP2 and a microcomputer MP1 of the device LINE detect it and MODEMs M1, M2 are connected. Thus, the data transmission/reception between the devices LINE and TERM is attained. When the device LINE transmits requested data and the end signal added to the end of the transmission data SD is transmitted from the MODEMM1, the computers MP1, MP2 switch respectively switches S1, S2 to telephone sets T1, T2 respectively. Thus, the transmission/reception of the voice signal is attained between the devices LINE and TERN. Thus, after the data transmission/reception is finished between both the devices, the voice is transmitted or received.
