Method of assembling supercharging pressure control device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate caulking fixing work for a diaphragm by providing an embossed projecting portion on a rod, and inserting a spacer between the projecting portion and a housing. CONSTITUTION:An embossed projecting portion 15 is disposed on a rod 9, and a spacer 16 is inserted between the projecting portion 15 and a housing 2. In this arrangement. When a spring 8 is compressed to set a diaphragm 10 at a regular fixed position, the rod 9 is moved to form a space between the embossed projecting portion 15 and the base of a housing 2. If the spacer 16 is inserted in the space, the resilient force of the spring 8 can be received by the spacer, so that in such a condition, the peripheral edge portion of the diaphragm 10 is fixed by caulking to facilitate caulking fixing work.
