Curable resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition capable of giving cured products of improved flexibility, impact resistance, toughness, strength, etc., by blending in specific proportion, reactive silicon group-contg. rubber-based organic polymer, epoxy resin and silicon compound having specific reactive group. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by blending (A) a rubber-based organic polymer having, in one molecule, at least one reactive silicon group (pref., with the main chain being or acrylic ester polymer or copolymer from acrylic ester, vinyl acetate, acrylonitrile, styrene, and ethylene), (B) an epoxy resin (pref., of bisphenol A type) and (C) a silicon compound having, in one molecule, both functional group reactive with epoxy group and reactive silicon groups (e.g., gamma-aminopropyl trimethoxysilane) in such weight ratios as to be 1/100-100/1 and 100/0.1-100/20 for (A)/(B) and (A+B)/(C), respectively.
