inkjet recording head
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a color picture, and to enable miniaturization and the reduction of cost simultaneously by forming a plurality of heating element groups and orifice groups corresponding to said heating element groups onto one substrate and constituting the titled recording head so that ink introduced to each orifice group is not mixed mutually. CONSTITUTION:Four groups having heating resistance elements 102, discrete electrodes 103, common electrodes 104 and electrode pads 105 are formed onto the surface of a substrate 101, and each one hole 113 is bored to several group. Orifices 107 and liquid flow paths 109 are divided into a plurality of groups and shaped on a plate 106 so as to correspond to separate heating resistance element 102, and one common liquid chambers 110 are formed communicated with the flow paths 109. Ink having four fundamental colors is introduced into each hole 113, picture signals corresponding to several color are transmitted over the groups of the electrode pads 105, liquid drops having four colors are discharged from the orifices 107, and a recording head is moved in the direction of the arrows 114 and four or more colors are recorded. According to the constitution, substantial density at every color is not lowered, and positional accuracy at every section among several orifice 107 is also improved, thus forming excellent recording pictures.
