Power converter for induction motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a motor from operating in stepout by using the addition of an input current of a converter and a current to and from smoothing condenser as an effective current. CONSTITUTION:A current signal rectified by a rectifier 22 from a current detected by a current transformer 21 provided at the input side of a converter 2 and a current signal from a current transformer 23 for detecting the current to and from a smoothing condenser 4 are added at an addition point 24 as an effective current signal of a load side converter 5. When a current is flowed to the condenser 4, the current signal is negative polarity, and when a current is flowed out from the condenser 4, the current signal becomes positive polarity. A current signal from the rectifier 22 is added thereto to obtain the effective current signal of the converter 5, and the output frequency is controlled to compensate the slip of the induction motor by the effective current.
