Exhaust gas circulation device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable an exhaust gas recirculation device to control the amount of recirculation gas even upon super-charging operation, by providing such an arrangement that a microcomputer which detects the running condition of an engine directly controls a step motor as a drive means to control the amount of exhaust gas circulation. CONSTITUTION:Fuel injected from an injector 18 is fed through a throttle valve 2 into a combustion chamber 11 where the fuel is burnt, and is then discharged from an exhaust pipe 4. A CPU201 in a computing device 20 operates in accordance with a program stored in a ROM204, and receives, through input terminals IS1 through IS8 in an interface device 202, a crank angle signal from a sensor 12, an intake-air pressure signal from a sensor 13, a water temperature signal from a sensor 16, an intake-air temperature signal from a sensor 16, a throttle valve opening degree signal from a sensor 14, an engine rotational speed signal from a sensor 19, a vehicle speed signal from a sensor 21, and a gear shift position signal from a sensor 22, and performs a predetermined computation in accordance with these signal data so that a drive signal is delivered to a step motor 17, thereby the amount of exhaust gas circulation is controlled by means of an EGR control valve 6.
