Idling-speed controlling apparatus for internal- combustion engine with supercharger
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an effective supercharging effect, by preventing back-flow of supercharging air to the atmosphere by providing a check valve on the downstream side of a flow control valve disposed in a by-pass passage one end of which is opened on the upstream side of a supercharger and the other end of which is opened on the downstream side of a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:Since an intake pipe 30 is closed by a throttle valve 7 at the time of idling operation of an internal-combustion engine 10, fresh air drawn through an air cleaner 1 is supplied to the engine 10 via a by-pass passage 20. Subsequently, when an accelerator pedal is depressed, the throttle valve 7 opens the intake pipe 30, so that a large amount of fresh air is supplied to the engine 10. Resultantly, the amount of exhaust gas discharged to an exhaust pipe 40 from the engine 10 is increased and a turbine 3b is set into rotation, so that a compressor 3a is also set into rotation. Therefore, the amount of fresh air supplied to the engine 10 is increased further. In the above arrangement, back-flow of fresh air supplied under pressure by the compressor 3a to the atmosphere side of the air cleaner 1 via a flow control valve 12 is prevented by means of a check valve 6 disposed between a surge tank 8 and the flow control valve 12.
