Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent impact resistance, high heat-resistance and flame-retardance, etc., and improved moldability, by compounding specific two kinds of polycarbonates. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by compounding (A) 1-99pts.wt. of 1,1-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-phenylethane carbonate and (B) 99- 1pts.wt. of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane carbonate. The defects of the component A such as poor moldability and low impact resistance, etc. can be improved, and the resultant composition has higher heat-resistance and flame-retardance than the component A.
