Facsimile communication system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency, to reduce accumulation capacity of terminals and to simplify constitution of the system by providing a device that registers dot image information corresponding to code information in a facsimile terminal from a store and forward exchange. CONSTITUTION:A group of word processors WP and a group of facsimile terminals FAX are contained in the store and forward exchange EX of a facsimile communication system and communication is made mutually. An internal bus BUS is connected to a communication controlling units CCUA, CCUB of the exchange EX, and a central processing unit CPU, dot image filling device DIF and filing device FLE are connected to the BUS. A data channel DCH, processing unit PU, code information collating section COMP and main memory MEM are provided in the CPU. Dot image image information corresponding to code information is registered from the exchange EX to the terminal FAX. Thus, transmission efficiency is improved, accumulation capacity of the memory of terminal FAX is reduced and constitution of the system is simplified.
