Programmable digital comparator
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To compare updated input data to be measured with threshold value data corresponding to them excellently with simple circuit constitution by obtaining the comparison results at the output of a comparing circuit successively. CONSTITUTION:Plural kinds of input data 1 to be measured are updated and supplied to one input of the comparing circuit successively. Then, threshold value data 4 are sent from a storage circuit 12 to the other input terminal of the circuit 10, which compares the two with each other. When data is updated, a counter-up signal 2 is generated synchronously and a counter 11 adds ''1'' to the current value to input its output count value signal 3 to the circuit 12, and sends address contents obtained by adding ''1'' to the current address to the circuit 10. Then, the circuit 10 compares data 1 with corresponding data 4. Consequently, it is not necessary to provided comparing circuits as many as the input data to be measured, and the circuit is simplified.
