Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To offer accurately information on the principal cause position of an error by deciding on the position of an error detected firstly among errors detected at plural positions, and displaying the code of the error information. CONSTITUTION:Information on an error latch circuit 1 is scanned out and its error information is coded by a coding processing part 2. An index part 3 indexes a code combination table 4 in increasing order according to the definition shown by a control bit (a). When all pieces of coded information coincide with the table code of one term and the number of codes is also coincident, the looking-up operation is interrupted and a display code is determined according to the definition in the table and sent to a display part 5 to display the code. The position of an error detected first among errors detected at plural positions is determined and displayed to offer accurately information on the principal cause position of the error.
