Monitor system for fault factor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To secure the normal operation of the computer system by setting the priority for plural fault factors and providing the transmitting means which performs and integrated control and transmission of the fault information. CONSTITUTION: The priority for the fault factors are set in the order of the factor (A) inserter paper jam, the factor (C) printer paper guide lock and the factor (B) non-inserter paper respectively. When inserter INS rolls in the paper, fault detector circuit ID of INS sets FF. FFA. At the same time, circuit ID of printer PR detects the paper guide lock to set FF. FFC, and priority decision circuit PP interrupts display message control mechanims DMC. Thus, factor (A) of higher priority is supplied to port P1, and factor (C) of next higher priority is supplied to port P2.
