Positioning mechanism for plate material of automatic exposing machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To stop a plate material which is carried from a plate material supply part on a mounting board accurately at a specific position by arranging the 1st and the 2nd conveyor rollers below the top surface of the plate material mounting board provided with a positioning member for plate materials at the circumferential edge part. CONSTITUTION:Rectangular grooves 61 and 62 conforming with the outside dimension of plate materials are made in the top surface of the plate material mounting board 46, positioning members 64 which are projected and returned are provided near the top and left sides of the outside groove 61, and holes 65 communicating with a vacuum pump are bored in the grooves 61 and 62 at specific positions. The plate material mounting board 46 encircled with the inside groove 62 has openings 66 parallel to the conveyance direction A of plate materials and openings 67 at 45 deg., and the 1st and the 2nd conveyor rollers 68 and 69 are provided so that their circumferential surfaces project from the openings slightly; and a carried plate material is moved by those rollers 68 and 69 to right and slantingly to right until the material abouts on the positioning members 64.
