Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form such a grinding surface as being highly accurate as well as to aim at the promotion of efficiency in grinding, by detecting overspeediness from a specified selection point of infeed rate, while making a specified reserve backward value so as to be adjusted for increment according to this exessive portion. CONSTITUTION:In case of a device grinding a work M as intermittently measuring size of the work M to be ground by a grinding wheel which rotates and reciprocates, when an operation circuit 18 accepts a select signal Cs, it feeds a backward value calculator 19 with an output signal Gg corresponding to a measuring signal Gs out of a measuring instrument 5. This calculator 19, receiving the output signal Gg, calculates a reserve backward value commensurate to an exceesive portion and controls an infeed device 9 with a control signal Gc based on this result, then incrementaly adjusts the specified reserve backward value so that not only a highly accurate grinding surface is formed but also the promotion of efficiency in grinding is performable.
