Antistatic thermoplastic resin composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition having excellent anti-staticity, transparency and heat weldability, and suitable for the film and bag, etc. for the packaging of IC, etc., at a low cost, by adding an organic compound such as alkylamine and a metallic salt such as lithium nitrate, etc. to the base resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) a thermoplastic resin (preferably polyolefin resin, polystyrene resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, or a polymer composed mainly of the above resins) with (B) one or more organic compounds selected from alkylamines, diamines, polyamines, alkylamides, polyhydric alcohol esters, higher alcohols, and their derivatives and (C) one or more metallic salts selected from lithium nitrate, lithium acetate and lithium carbonate. The amounts of the organic compound and the metallic salt are preferably 0.05-2.0pts.wt. and 0.1-5.0pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the thermoplastic resin, respectively.
