Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable inexpensive viewing of a stereoscopic image by constituting a titled device in such a way that two images for separate viewing with both eyes are projected on image screens and that the two images are sensed by both right and left eyes. CONSTITUTION:Mirrors 13R, 13L are attached to the free end of a light shielding plate 11. The light from, for example, a small image screen 10a arrives at the left eye through the mirror 13L, an optical system left 14L, a mirror 15L and an eyepiece lens left 16L and the light from a small image screen 10b arrives at the right eye through the mirror 13R, an optical system right 14R, a mirror 15a and an eyepiece lens right 16R. The images for stereoscopic viewing projected on both small image screens are made visible separately with the right and left eyes by such simple constitution. The inpexpensive stereoscopic viewing is thus made possible.
