Conductive sheet and electrostatic recording body using it
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To give uniform surface electric resistivity in a wide area in a semiconductive region and to reduce change with time under the circumstances of air, water vapor, heat, etc., by forming a thin metal oxide layer specified in thickness on at least one side of a conductive layer made of at least one of Pt, Pd, Rh, Ru, and Ir. CONSTITUTION:A conductive sheet is prepared by laminating an org. polymer sheet A, a 0.5-100nm thick metal oxide thin film B, and a conductive layer C composed essentially of at least one of Pt, Pd, Rh, Ru, and Ir at least in the order of A/B/C or A/C/B. The sheet A preferably has a surface resistivity of >=10<10>, especially >=10<12>OMEGA/?. The layer B is made of one or a mixture of oxides of Ti, Si, In, Sn, Al, Zn, Ta, Zr, W, etc. A preferable surface resistivity of the conductive layer C is within 10<4>-10<9>OMEGA/? and Pt, Pd, and Rh are especially preferable in respect of uniformity and stability of surface resistivity.
