CONSTITUTION:A WC-base sintered hard alloy consisting of, by weight, 5- 15% Co, 5-60% soluble carbide of Ti and W, 5-40% TiN, 1-15% one or more among TaC, NbC and soluble carbide of Ta and Nb, and the balance WC with inevitable impurities is prepd. The hard dispersed phase of the alloy consists of a WC phase, a phase of soluble carbide of Ti, W and Ta and/or Nb having <=2mum average grain size, and a TiN phase.
