Disc carrier in video disc automatic reproducing

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reproduce quickly the recording content of a disc after the disc is set ont a player by providing a cap for disc retaining which pushes the video disc onto a reproducing device and holds it rotatably. CONSTITUTION:A base of an arm 42 is fixed to a position being in front of a flange 33 and biased upward from a rotary member 34. A disc retaining cap 43 ratatably while pressing the center of the surface of the disc 5 is fixed to the rear ide of the arm 42. The video disc reproducing device 44 is fixed to the rear part of a lower plate 24 of a box 11. A rotary shaft 46 of a turntable 45 of the player 44 is coincident with an axial line at the center of the cap 43 when a carriage 26 comes to the extreme end. Thus, the recording content of the disc is reproduced instantly by having only to descend slightly the carriage 26 at the same time or after the disc is set to the video reproducing device 44.
