Toner recovering device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance control, prevent recovered toner from being scattered, and prevent toner contamination by fixing and recovering toner which remaining on the surface of a photosensitive body on a toner recovery form. CONSTITUTION:The toner recovering device consists of a cleaning member 2 provided nearby the photosensitive drum 1 in a copying machine frame, a cylindrical conveying means 3 which conveys recovered toner, a cyclone filter 4, and a recovering member 5. The recovering member 5 consists of a supply roll 14 which discharges the rolled toner recovery form 12 continuously as shown by an arrow C, a take-up roll 15 which recovers the form 12, and a toner fixing member 13 equipped with a pressure roll 16 and a heat roll 17. Toner discharged from the cyclone filter 4 is deposited on the toner recovery form 12 and fixed thermally by the toner fixing member 13, and the take-up roller 15 is removed together with the form and disposed of.
