Vibro-isolating supporter filled with fluid

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a vibro-isolating supporter in a good condition to damp the vibration in a low frequency range while isolate the vibration in a high frequency range further increase also the rigidity in a direction at a right angle with the direction of the axial center of the supporter. CONSTITUTION:A circular annular rubber block 10, used as a rubber elastic member consisting of a rubber material of low dynamic spring constant, fixes a mounting metal fixture 12, for mounting the rubber block to a car body, at a right angle with the direction of the axial center in its central part of the rubber block 10. The rubber block 10 provides in its both side parts in the direction of the axial center, divided by this mounting metal fixture 12, respectively a plurality of first pocket part 14 and second pocket parts 16 under a condition such that they are opened to end surfaces respectively in the direction of the axial center and closed by coating-cover metal fixtures 18, 20. The rubber block 10 arranges a penetrating hole 32 used as the first orifice means allowing non-compressible fluid 28 to circulatively flow between the both pocket parts 14, 16 while a groove 34 used as the second orifice means connecting the plurality of the second pocket parts 16 to each other.
