Strip line filter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and to attain sufficient attenuation by forming a section almost surrounded by plural resonance electrodes to one side of a dielectric substrate and providing an earth electrode to the other side of the dielectric substrate face of this section. CONSTITUTION:Half-wavelength resonators 9-15 are arranged on a virtual V line 16 on one side of the dielectric substrate 8. A full face earth electrode (not shown in figure) is provided on the other side of the substrate 8. A caption 17 is the earth electrode provided on the face of the substrate 8 almost surrounded by the resonance electrodes 9-15, and for example, the electrode is provided also at one side face 18 of the full face earth electrode 8 and the earth electrode is in continuity with the full face earth electrode on the other side of the substrate 8 via said electrode. The resonance electrodes can be of 1/4-wavelength resonance type and can also be provided on a U-shaped line. In short, the 1st stage resonance electrode and the final resonance electrode are provided as near as possible for miniaturization and a shield electrode is provided to the section so as not to propagate directly an electromagnetic wave via the section almost surrounded by the resonance electrodes.
