Supporting device of seat
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible simply and adequately to control the support of a seat by securely fixing a spiral plate spring to a shaft rotatably supported inside the seat to support it. CONSTITUTION:Seat springs 2 are mounted on the central portion of a seat back frame 1, and a pair of side plates 3 forwardly projected are mounted on both sides of the lower portion thereof. In the above construction, a shaft 5 is rotatably supported between both the side plates 3, and round this shaft 5 is wound a spiral plate spring 6 whose one end is fixed to the shaft 5 and other end is fixed to the frame 1, thereby the plate spring 6 being used as a lumber support. An operation knob 7 for rotating the shaft 5 and a locking mechanism 8 for rigidly fixing it in a suitable position are mounted on a projecting end of the shaft 5. Thus, the support can be simply and adequately controlled.
