Immunoanalysis method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform quickly and easily analysis by inducing an antigen-antibody reaction and analyzing spectrally the fluorescence of the fluorescent material flowing from the microcapsule broken by the complement activating effect or the fluorescence of the resulted product of reaction formed by the reaction between a non-fluorescent material and a coexisting material. CONSTITUTION:A reagent and a sample are mixed to progress an antigen-antibody reaction with the antibody 3 or antigen in the microcapsule in the reagent or the antigen 4 or antibody in the sample and to activate the complememt 5 in the reagent, thereby developing the effect of dissolving the membrane of the complement 5. The microcapsule membrane 1 is thereby broken to release the material 2 in the microcapsule into the reaction liquid from the inside of the microcapsule. If the material 2 is a fluorescent material, the fluorescence emitted by the material 2 flowing out of the microcapsule 1 is spectrally analyzed as shown in the figure (a). If the material 2 is not a fluorescent material, the fluorecence emitted by the fluorescent material formed by the reaction of said material 2 and the coexisting material 6 coexisting in the reagent or the chemical emission of the excitation material 7 formed by such reaction is spectrally analyzed as shown in the figure (b).
