Function limit telephone set

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain the efficient utilization of a private telephone set by restricting a talking range and a talking time or the like with an information card designating a telephone function. CONSTITUTION:A card inserting hole is formed to a telephone set main body 12 and a magnetic card reader (C/R)23 is provided in its inside. Several kinds of information cards 14 are provided corresponding to the talking area and the talking limit time and corresponding designated information is recorded on the cards. An input numeral from a pushbutton 21 and read information from the C/R23 are applied to the CPU22 of the telephone set. The CPU22 allows a display section 24 and a buzzer 25 to display the content of function limit designated by the C/R23. The dial signal and the information of the C/R are fed to a dial signal converting circuit 26. The circuit 26 has an automatic dial function and plays a role of prescribed function based on the input signal from the pushbutton 21. The function selection is controlled by the CPU22 according to the kinds of the card information. Furthermore, a caption 29 is a relay opening a line at the limit of the talking time by using a contact 29a automatically and the line is switched by the command from the circuit 26 based on the talking time limit information of the C/R23.
