Cooling device of brake of vehicle
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To perform cooling of a brake reliably, by leading at least a part of cooling air to be sent out by a blower fan of a forced air-cooled engine to the brake. CONSTITUTION:When a blower fan 62 of an engine 12 is revolved along with a crankshaft 48, the open air is sucked into a cover 64 through an air intake 66. Part of the sucked air is discharged outside from an exhaust port 70 through a duct 68 after it has cooled a cylinder 40 and a head 42. The other part of the foregoing sucked air is spouted against a brake drum 96 from an opening 72 and a nozzle 74. Frictional heat, therefore, between the drum 96 of a brake 92 and a brake shoe 12 is irradiated favorably by cooling air abutting against the outside of the drum 96.
