Slip controlling apparatus in torque converter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent generation of speed change shock by keeping a slip control means in the state immediately before speed change instruction, until the difference between the number of revolution of a torque converter output shaft and the number of revolution of a prime mover becomes a prescribed value, after speed change instruction is transmitted. CONSTITUTION:A calculation stop means (g) which holds a slip control means (e) in the state immediately before speed change instruction until the difference between the number of revolution of a prime mover and the number of revolution of a torque converter output shaft C which is obtained from the gear position to be selected and the output revolution number of a gear speed change mechanism after the speed change instruction for a gear speed change mechanism is transmitted becomes a prescribed value is installed. Therefore, the completion of speed change can be correctly grasped. Therefore, the generation of speed change shock due to the wrong understanding for the number of revolution of output elements is prevented.
