Temperature control method of heat roller fixing device of reader printer
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten the wait time of a large-sized reader printer by controlling the power consumption in the wait time up to when a heat roller attains to set temperature to a value much larger than that in printing operation. CONSTITUTION:A fixing part 3 consists of the heat roller 14 having a heater 13, a fixing roller 15, and a temperature detector 16, and when a power switch 17 is turned on, a printer for a reader turns on and the heater 13 starts heating operation. Maximum power consumption is necessary during printing operation, so the power consumption of the heater 13 is increased with remaining electric power during the heating wait time up to when the heat roller attains to the set temperature. Further, a switch 18 is pressed to turn off the lamp for the reader and the electric power for it is used for the heater heating. Thus, the wait timer of the large-sized reader printer is shortened.
