Denture cleaning agent
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a denture cleaning agent having high stability as well as excellent disintegrability or solubility, by compounding a peroxide coated with lactose. CONSTITUTION:The objective denture cleaning agent can be produced by adding 20-40wt% peroxide (e.g. acidic peroxide such as potassium persulfate, or basic peroxide such as sodium perborate) coated with lactose based on the whole denture cleaning agent. The particle size of the lactose used for the coating of the peroxide should be smaller than that of the peroxide, and the content of lactose in the denture cleaning agent is 10-30%, preferably 15-25%. The coating of the peroxide with lactose is carried out by using a coating agent composed of lactose and a water-soluble polymer such as polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl acetate, carboxymethylcellulose, their sodium salt, etc., preferably polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
