Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the durability by forming a vibrating piece or a rotor of ceramic or coating ceramic film on a metal. CONSTITUTION:One or more vibrating pieces 8a of trapezoidal section having a slope at one side is formed of a ceramic material or coated with a ceramic film. A rotor 9 is formed of the ceramic material or coated with the ceramic film, and disposed to pressure contact with the piece 8 coaxial with a supersonic horn 3. Since the piece 8 and the rotor 9 are formed of the ceramic material or coated with the ceramic film, they have wear resistance as compared with metal and can endure against long time use.
