Optical scanner
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To change a scanning pattern for scanning a bar-code symbol to an optimum one in accordance with an object by constituting separately an optical scanning part for irradiating a laser beam and obtaining a scanning diffracted light, and a pattern synthesizing mirror part for synthesizing and emitting a scanning pattern. CONSTITUTION:A laser scanner divides an optical scanning part 13 and a pattern synthesizing mirror part 14, and in the pattern synthesizing mirror part 14, that of each kind which is different in the constituting number of a mirror 8 and the mirror crossing angle is prepared in advance, the pattern synthesizing mirror part 14 is selected suitably in accordance with conditions such as a size of a bar-code symbol, a variation of a sticking angle, a moving speed, etc, and it is combined with the optical scanning part 13. A scanning pattern A-1 and B-1 can be formed by placing a pattern synthesizing mirror 9 as A-2 and B-2, respectively, but in this case, a scanning line crossing angle PSI of a scanning pattern 1 is determined in advance by a mirror crossing angle theta. The pattern synthesizing mirror part 14 provided with such various pattern synthesizing mirrors 9 is prepared in advance, selected in accordance with a bar-code symbol to be detected, and it is combined with the optical scanning part 13.
