Line printer control system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a line printer control system to hasten printing speeds without the need for complicated circuits by using a system in which line feeding data with letter pattern for one line are accumulated in a line buffer, and the line feeding action in the printing section is made by reading out the line feeding data. CONSTITUTION:Space regions SA-SF are provided after letter regions KA- KF wherein letter patterns A-F are written in a line buffer 3, and a line feeding tag signal is put from a line feeding tag pattern generation circuit 7 into the line buffer 3 on the basis of line feeding signals sent out from a printer control circuit 1. The line feeding tag is written in the space regions SA-SF. In printing, data accumulated in the line buffer 3 are read out, even line feeding signals with a slice pattern signal are put in the printing section 4, and line feeding is made.
