Control system of printer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To control a drive motor of a printing head, in an electronic calculator with a printer or the like, by controlling motor supping by counting a printing position signal from a time when a printing finished code is detected to utilize an equipped counter. CONSTITUTION: Data "1,2..." for one stored in a character buffer 1 are successively read out to be printed every printing position signal T p and, when a second code "α" showing printing completion for one line is applied to a decoder 3, a counted value of a binary counter 4 is set to "2" and a FF12 is set. Then, output to AND circuits 7, 16 for controlling printing timing is stopped and a signal "1" is applied to an AND circuit 17. Thereafter, by driving a motor, a printing head 8 carries out operation returned until a printing position and the printing position signal Tp developed during said operation is counted by a dot counter 15 and, when a value thereof is reached to 60, a FF11 is reset and output of a motor start signal MS is stopped.
