Device for fixing coil bar to slot of electric machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the spring pressure of the end of a wavy spring disposed in a box under a wedge for elastic support by rounding the end of the spring, thereby preventing the wear and the contamination of the contacting surface with the end of the spring and suppressing the formation of a slot. CONSTITUTION:A slot spacer 12 is formed at the intermediate to be superposed, and coil bars 1, 11 surrounded by an insulator 10 are disposed in the slot 4 of a stator core 5. Since the coil bars 1, 11 are elastically supported in the slot 4, a wavy spring 8 which is rounded at 8a is disposed at both ends of the wavy spring in a longitudinal direction of a box 9 under a wedge 6. The wear of the box 9 as the contacting surface is prevented by the round 8a of the end of the spring, the contamination in the machine due to worn chips is prevented, and the formation of the slot due to the wear is suppressed, thereby preventing the spring pressure of the end of the spring from decreasing.
