Kana (japanese syllabary)-kanji (chinese character) converting system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator and to improve the KANA-KANJI conversion processing by giving a retroactive correction to an error of converted KANJI, if any error is found, in the process of analysis in accordance with an input operation of KANA sentences. CONSTITUTION:An input KANA train is successively analyzed for each prescribed unit, and the KANA train is properly converted into KANJI based on the result of analysis. If an inappropriate one is detected among converted KANJI characters in the process of analysis, an appropriate one is detected among these candidate KANJI characters the corresponding KANA train possesses from the result of new analysis. Then a retroactive correction is performed from (a) to (b). Thus a correct KANA-KANJI Japanese sentence is produced.
